Prohibited Content & Conduct

To keep HerdSetu safe, lawful and useful for farmers, the following are not allowed. This list is shown at sign-up and applies to every listing, photo and message. Violations are removed and may lead to account suspension and, where required, reporting to authorities.

• 🚫 No sale for slaughter or meat
  Listings must be for dairy, draught or breeding animals only. Selling or advertising animals for slaughter, meat or sacrifice is strictly prohibited.
• 🚫 No illegal or cruel activity
  Nothing that breaks central or state law, harms animals, or violates the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 and the Transport of Animals Rules, 1978.
• 🚫 No fraud or misrepresentation
  Do not lie about breed, milk yield, health, age or price, or impersonate someone else.
• 🚫 No spam or off-platform contact dumping
  Do not paste phone numbers, links or ads into descriptions. Keep dealings on HerdSetu so they stay safe and traceable.
• 🚫 No offensive, obscene or harmful content
  No sexual, hateful, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful content or imagery.
• 🚫 No other people's private data
  Do not post someone else's personal or contact information without consent.

Reporting

See something that breaks these rules? Use the Report button on any listing. We acknowledge reports within 24 hours and act on prohibited content on an expedited basis (within 72 hours, and within 24 hours for non-consensual intimate imagery).
